On the third panel Konstanzes tries to explain that she don't want to justify the actions of the young german soldiers. Some must think they deserved to die but as Dan says, they also have families.
The reason why i didn't translate the little german was to keep the "natural" feeling. Dan doesn't understand german that well but gets the point what Konstanze's trying to say :)

Dear readers, thanks for over 400 watchers. I'm so overwhelmed! There'll be a little pause for 2 weeks. Because I'm off to Japan on Sunday! I'm so looking forward to it.
Have a good time my dear readers!

I have zero knowledge of german so I'm still trying to work out what the bits in german mean, but I think you did right by leaving them in german. I really like how you aim for realism and it's a great resource. Ok, I must say I have a crush on Konstanze, she looks so cute in the middle panel!

Very nice touch leaving untranslated, totally gives that natural feel :) Its also great to highlight pov from both sides- no matter what you're on, its tough being a soldier and sometimes the reasons they join has nothing to do with bloodshed or war.
